Alfred
Street South, St Ann's, lived Doris and Arthur Swift. Doris
(formerly Robey) was Grandma Lucy's younger sister, and ran a lacework
business from her multi-roomed house at Alfred Street. Each year the
firm would arrange a trip to Great Yarmouth. Below are some examples,
plus a few of Doris herself. Doris and Arthur first lived at 27 Dennett
Street, before moving to Alfred Street, which was demolished in 1969.

Have you recognised any old friends, or could you possibly
help me with my
